Intermarine, a Houston-based project cargo and break bulk operator, announced today that they have retained the specialist skills of John O. Bomer IV to assist Chief Executive Al Stanley in the expansion of Intermarine’s Africa service.

Prior to his arrival at Intermarine, John held the position of President and Partner for Consolidated Steamship Agency in Houston, which served as agents for Universal Africa Lines and its alliance partners.

With over 30 years of experience in West African logistics, John brings a wealth of invaluable knowledge to the team of professionals at Intermarine.

Intermarine intends to fully integrate its diverse global strengths with the unique demands of the African market.  Bomer commented “Intermarine’s deep infrastructure of experienced professionals, fleet of modern multipurpose vessels, and terminal ownership are tailor made for the African trade and innovative advances for our customer base.”

Operating more than 60 multipurpose heavylift vessels, Intermarine offers liner and chartering services throughout the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Far East Asia, and West Africa regions.
