Dr Jamal Yusof, Chief Executive of Malaysian OSV operator Icon Offshore Bhd, along with his COO Rahman Yusof, have been remanded to facilitate and assist investigations currently being conducted by Malaysia’s corruption watchdog, Suruhanjaya Pencegah Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM).
In an exchange statement, the company says they have “no details of the nature of the investigations or their status,” and “the Board takes serious exception to any breaches in policies and integrity and will not hesitate to take appropriate actions if necessary.”
