Residents on the Greek Island of Evia were forced to flee over the weekend as wildfires raged unabated.

Wildfires have burned across Greece for the past week fueled by dry conditions and one of the country’s worst heatwave in three decades.
Evia, Greece’s second-largest island, has been one of the hardest-hit places and thousands of people have had to be evacuated by ferry, as can be seen in the below video released by MarineTraffic.com.
