We actually covered this incident way back when. The yacht ended up sinking off the coast off the Greek island of Skyros in the Aegean Sea.
The 60-meter yacht, previously available for charter at about $500,000 per week, was reportedly in the area for what was described as “minor warranty work” when it suffered a mechanical failure and began to list. Luckily, the Coast Guard was able to pluck everyone off despite of the conditions.
