U.S. Naval Hospital( Reuters)– Part of group of the 450 Afghan citizens who have been evacuated from Kabul cross a security checkpoint after arriving on a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III transport plane from Kuwait, at Naval Station (NAVSTA) Rota Air Base in Rota, Spain. NAVSTA Rota is currently supporting the Department of State mission to facilitate the safe departure and relocation of U.S. citizens, Special Immigration Visa recipients, and vulnerable populations from Afghanistan.
