In a stock exchange announcement over the weekend, China Shipping Container Lines has expressed their intentions to build five, 18,000 TEU containerships.
The new build contract has apparently not yet been signed yet, and CSCL did not mention which yard might be awarded the contract.
DSME in Korea is the only shipyard in the world building container ships of that size.
