A crew boat suffered a slight mishap last week when it ran straight into an offshore platform in the Gulf of Mexico, causing damage. These photos were taken Friday off the coast of Louisiana. The crew boat was later spotted Saturday in Port Fourchon showing some damage, however what exactly caused the incident is unclear.

Rumors of the captain falling asleep at the wheel are incorrect, according to a source close to the incident.

Some additional photos of this incident have been removed in the interest of the ongoing investigation.
