Five people are reportedly missing after a barge capsized Monday morning on the Yangtze River in southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality.
Details of the incident are still unclear, but according to local reports, the barge capsized at about 11 a.m. Monday amid strong currents and eighteen people on board went into the water. A search continues for five people still missing, including one child, according to the reports.
Seventeen of those on board were employees of a local shipping company, the reports say.
