Rob Almeida is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in Naval Architecture. He served 6.5 years as a Surface Warfare Officer, earning his qualification aboard USS Paul F. After leaving the Navy, he entered Transocean's Accelerated Operations Management Program, working as roustabout, floorhand, dynamic positioning operator, derrickhand, and assistant driller on sixth-generation deepwater drillships.
