Now, more than ever, businesses are looking to secure their global supply chains and logistics operations. Maine Maritime Academy’s (MMA) online master’s program in International Logistics Management (ILM) will position you for leadership in international business and logistics. Being part of this growing industry can take your career to the next level.

Why International Business and Logistics?

Operating in the global economy requires an understanding of world economics and business climates. Companies of all sizes rely on global supply chains. This inherently complex field needs capable leaders with a deep understanding of the logistics industry and its challenges. Maine Maritime’s comprehensive curriculum, industry-experienced faculty, substantive projects, and a diverse cohort with varied backgrounds all combine to ensure you have the knowledge you need to be successful in meeting those challenges.

Made For the Working Professional

This part-time online graduate program is ideal for full-time working professionals. The online platform offers flexibility while also allowing you to study at home. The asynchronous format allows you to create the schedule that works for your job, family, and other responsibilities. Students can gain a solid business foundation with a focus on logistics management in as little as 19 months. The curriculum delves into concepts and theories in a range of fields, including marketing, inventory, distribution, transportation management, strategic thinking, business economics, and accounting. No previous business education or experience is required.

Experience Maine Maritime Academy

Our program is small enough that your professors and classmates will get to know you. Faculty are available to discuss course material, their professional experience, and current trends in the logistics industry. You will also have access to MMA’s on-campus resources. Nutting Memorial Library offers ebooks, audiobooks, periodicals and trade publications to enhance your learning and research capabilities. Our IT Help Desk is available to solve technology issues if they arise.

Graduates of MMA’s International Logistics Management program receive a Maritime Port Manager certificate from International Association of Maritime and Port Executives (IAMPE). This certification affirms specialty training received in port management of both public and private ports. Alumni pursue positions as managers, directors, or vice presidents in logistics, production operations, procurement, inventory management, port and terminal operations, supply chain, transportation, project management, and import and export. Previous ILM graduates now work for top companies, such as Amazon, Boeing, Caterpillar, FedEx, Georgia Pacific, L.L. Bean, Shell Oil, Target, and the Walt Disney World.
