International Bunkering Group announced today that Mr. Christoffer Berg Lassen has been promoted from the position of International Sales Manager to Group CEO.
Lassen has worked with the International Bunkering Group since early 2008 and brings extensive international expertise and has an impressive background in the marine bunker and lubricant industry. He will replace the former CEO, Mr. Carsten Ladekjaer, who has accepted a position outside the International Bunkering Group.
On his appointment as the Group’s new CEO, Mr. Lassen commented:
“This is an exciting opportunity for me and I am thrilled and privileged to be able to work even more closely with the dynamic teams in our International Bunkering Group. I look forward to leading the Group and taking on the challenges and demands that may present itself in the future. Over the years, the International Bunkering Group has established a respected brand name and has built solid relationships within the industry. With this strong foundation in place, I am excited to help the team take its success to the next level. We are committed to doing what it takes to drive long-term sustainable growth and expansion within the group and we are hoping to hire even more first-rate people to our existing teams of talented traders.”
