Indian Seafarers Freed After Months of Detention at Yemen’s Ras Isa Port

Zhejiang shipyard has delivered the PSV Sea Flyer, the first second of 12 Ulstein PX105 PSVs ordered by Seatankers Group. The first vessel delivered was the Sea Falcon, this past February.
The vessel measures 88.9 meters in length, has a 19 meter beam, and comes equipped with a diesel-electric propulsion system and electrical package delivered by Ulstein Power & Control. The are fitted with Rolls-Royce Azipull 100 propellers, and will be able to reach speeds of 15.5 knots. The loading deck area is in excess of 1,000 m2 and the vessels each have a dead weight of 4,700 tonnes. They comply with the DNV requirements of the Clean and Clean Design standards.
Seatankers is a new client for Ulstein and these vessels were ordered in September 2012.
