Saturday Night Live stars Pete Davidson and Colin Jost address reports that they have purchased an old Staten Island Ferry in this “Weekend Update” skit titled “Three Guys Who Just Bought a Boat.”
ICYMI, the two comedians were revealed as the buyers of the decommissioned Staten Island Ferry John F. Kennedy ferry at auction for a reported $280,000, along with their partner Paul Italia, a Manhattan real estate broker and club owner (but “not a Mafia-themed wrestler”). They plan to turn the ferry into a stationary entertainment venue and comedy club, if only they can find some place to permanently dock it.
But first they need to figure out how to move the vessel from the St. George Ferry Terminal, where it is currently sitting in an inoperable state.
