Dong Energy released a video the following video this week showing the installation of the Hejre jacket which occurred on 23 May 2014. This steel structure will subsequently support the Hejre field oil and gas processing facility located in the North Sea approximately 292 kilometres northwest of Esbjerg, Denmark.
The jacket was installed by Heerema Marine Contractors from their barge H-627 and then subsequently maneuvered into place with the semi-submersible crane barge Hermod.
Once completed, the facility will eventually route produced gas to the Sydarne Platform and crude oil to the Gorm E platform. Flowlines from those platforms will both route directly to the Nybro Gas Plant and Frederica Oil terminal, respectively.
