Viking Supply Ships reports today their 200 ton bollard pull anchor handler Vidar Viking has had its contract with Sakhalin Energy extended until the end of July 2016, plus a six month extension option.
The vessel is currently conducting ice management and supply operations at the Sakhalin-2 project in the Okhotsk Sea off Russia.
Viking Supply Ships says the new contract, including options is valued at approximately USD $45 million.
