Todd Vorenkamp from TRVphoto.com was sailing on the 3,600 TEU containership President Adams and shot the following time lapse video while unloading containers in Singapore.

However, what is perhaps even more interesting, is the connection that the legendary Singapore-based ABS surveyor Sean “Danger” McKay Holt draws to the design of the Imperial AT-AT Walkers from Star Wars’ Empire Strikes Back, as compared to the shape of a container crane.

While driving through Singapore this spring, Holt comments, “Did you know that George Lucas modeled the Imperial Walkers from the Battle of Hoth scene after containership cranes?”
