The Triple-E containership Madison Maersk leaves the Port of Rotterdam carrying 17,152 TEU – a record according to Maersk.
Maersk says the vessel also had a record number of 298 containers loaded at the 10th tier on deck, which was a first time ever for the port of Rotterdam. This video, which was filmed October 1, was made while Madison Maersk was moored alongside APMT Maasvlakte II terminal as the vessel was departing for its next port.
