Petrobras has extended their contract for DOF Subsea’s Skandi Vitória for an additional two years beginning in September 2013.

The vessel is owned through a joint venture formed by DOF Subsea, a subsidiary of DOF ASA together with Technip.

The 2010-built Skandi Vitória is the first pipe-lay vessel built in Brazil, equipped with vertical and horizontal pipe-lay systems, a 250 mt crane and 2 ROVs. The vessel is capable of operating in water depths up to 3,000 meters.
