US Aircarft Carrier Leaves Red Sea as Houthis Pause Attacks
A US aircraft carrier strike group left the Red Sea for Europe weeks after Yemen’s Houthi rebel group said it will stop attacking vessels in the region.
Designed by Finnish naval architecture firm Foreship BlueTech Ltd, the Bluetech 42 is a new eco-friendly handysize bulk carrier that features a 15 percent larger hold and 5 – 9 percent greater deadweight as compared to other vessels in its class. At the same time however, hull and structural optimization has reduced its fuel consumption/hold volume and deadweight ratios to the lowest in their class, according to Foreship.
In an announcement this week, Bulgarian ship owner Navibulgar signed a contract for 4 firm + 2 options for these vessels at Hongqiang shipyard.
