The UK Marine Accident Investigation Branch has released some new photos showing the damage to the containership MV Ever Smart and oil tanker Alexandra 1 after the ships collided head-on off Jebel Ali in the United Arab Emirates last month.
The collision, which occurred February 11th, is under investigation by the MAIB as the MV Ever Smart is registered in the UK. The oil tanker, registered in the Marshall Islands, clearly suffered the most damage.
