A video showing an “upgraded” room on board a Holland America cruise ship has racked up nearly 2 million views since it was uploaded Sunday.
The video was posted July 17 by Youtube user Nate Zemanek who says his party paid $600 for an upgraded room with a view during their European cruise vacation only to look out at a lifeboat and man in full Walter White garb using a power sander right outside the window.
An update from Nate says Holland America contacted him about the video and offered a refund of the $600 and a “nice dinner” courtesy of the cruise line. Nate added that despite the unpleasant experience he won’t let the incident ruin his trip. “We intend to have a blast and have another 2 weeks to do so,” he writes.
