Heung-A Shipping announced today the order of a pair of 3,500 dwt chemical tankers for a total consideration of KRW 28,462,000,000 (approx. USD $28 million).
The order comes in the form of a bareboat charter hire purchase (BBCHP) where the ships will be placed on bareboat charter for a period of 12-years following delivery.
The vessels are due for delivery in September 2016. The yard was not disclosed.
