
Hanjin Shipping Recieves 10,000TEU Vessel From Samsung
Hanjin Shipping announced Monday it received the fourth vessel in a series of five container ships with capacities of 10,000TEU.
The vessel, named “Hanjin Spain” was built at Samsung Heavy Industries.
According to Hanjin Shipping, “Hanjin Spain” will be deployed in Asia-Europe trade soon after the delivery.
Attending the naming ceremony, Won Woo Lee, Chief Executive of Container Business Unit at Hanjin Shipping, commented, “We are delighted with the delivery of this state-of-the-art mega vessel. It will be a valuable asset in elevating the competency of our customer service.”
The fifth and final vessel of the series is scheduled to be delivered during this year.

Engine Output: 93,000 Horse Power
Length: 349 Meters / Width: 45.6 Meters
Speed: 25.1 Knots (Approximately 50km/h)
