Globe Wireless today announced that Mr. Kenneth E. Jones, founder and Chairman of Globe Wireless, has returned to the daily leadership of the company.
Mr. Jones holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska, and a MBA from Harvard University. He has served as CEO of both public and private companies in the telecommunications industry since 1983.
In 1994, Mr. Jones founded Globe Wireless and headed the company as CEO until 2004, when he became Chairman of the board for the company. He has been directly involved with Globe Wireless, and he and the Globe management team are intimately familiar with the corporate direction and strategy.
Mr. Jones commented, “Customers can expect continued efforts by Globe Wireless to enhance our products, support and services. Globe Wireless will continue to be the innovation leader for maritime communications.”
The executive search firm, Russell Reynolds Associates’ Atlanta office will be helping Mr. Jones expand the management structure of Globe Wireless to keep pace with its rapidly growing business.
Globe Wireless provides a wide selection of satellite services along with its digital radio data network for communications at sea.
