Flagship Management, LLC of Pompano Beach, FL announced today the appointment of Doug Ward, former Director of HR at ABS Americas, to their team of maritime professionals.
Doug is a graduate of the Maine Maritime Academy and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Engineering and an MBA in Finance and Human Resources from St. Mary’s College. Doug holds a Senior USCG Unlimited HP License and has held positions from seagoing Engineer, Port Engineer, New-building Site Director for APL, Vice President of Engineering for Maersk Line, Ltd., and most recently the Director of Human Resources with American Bureau of Shipping in Houston, TX.
“Doug brings a wealth of experience to Flagship Management,” said Craig Johnson, a partner in the company. “His professionalism and knowledge is widely recognized throughout the maritime industry and we are excited about his ability to work with our clients.”
