I’ve been impressed with Damen ships ever since seeing these guys at Houston’s Offshore Technology Conference a few years ago. These are without a doubt the sexiest workboats on the ocean, while at the same time super functional and able to blaze down the face of a following sea at high speed. This capability is due to her uniquely designed bow that rakes downward increasing her forward buoyancy while at the same time, maintaining the streamined, wave-slicing profile.
