Norwegian offshore supply shipowner Atlantic Offshore can now boast that it is the owner of the “coolest looking” vessel in the North Sea following the delivery and painting of the new Ocean Art PSV this week in Stavanger, Norway.
Polish street artist Mariusz “M-City” Waras agreed to take on the project and spent three days this week painting the vessel in the lead-up to the christening on Thursday.
Atlantic Offshore took delivery of the Ocean Art from the Kleven shipyard in Myklebust, Norway. The vessel is the second of two VS 485 MKIII L design ordered by Atlantic Offshore from Kleven.
The Ocean Art will now commence a 6-year contract with Statoil in the North Sea.
