gCaptain has just returned from a long 3 days in “The Big Easy” where we attended the 2008 International Workboat Show… and what a 3 days it was.
The show was massive (to say the least). It took us a full two days just to walk the floor, and another day (and 3 nights) to speak to everyone. We met some great people, great companies and saw some great new products and technologies with just too much to mention here. We look forward to reviewing some of them in the coming days and weeks here on the blog.
A big thanks to everyone that took the time to meet with us and we really appreciate all the great response and feedback. Also, thanks to all the fans we met. Putting faces behind online readers is truly priceless for us and we appreciate all the support.
Finally, thanks to the good people at Maritime Executive for all the great introductions. For those of you that don’t know, they have a weekly e-newsletter that we look forward every Thursday. You can sign up for free HERE.
If you could not attend, the show’s website has a lot of information including downloads of the Worboat Show Daily.
If you did attend, let us know what you thought of the show in the comments.
