A Swiber offshore vessel kicked off the year running aground along a stretch of beach near the port of Dos Bocas in Paraíso, Tabasco, Mexico.

The company’s 5,000 BHP AHTS Swiber Torunn was shown on video aground in heavy weather on January 2nd reportedly after dragging anchor. Local reports say the vessel ran aground at about 11 p.m. on January 1st.

All 15 crew remained onboard. AIS on Monday showed the vessel underway again near Paraíso.
