Call Me Big Daddy
The platform supply vessel (PSV) ‘Blue Protector’ was delivered today from Ulstein Verft and is now available for charter on the North Sea spot market.
Owned by Blue Ship Invest and managed by Atlantic Offshore the ‘Blue Protector’ is the final newbuild in a series of PX121-designed PSVs engineered for the Norwegian North Sea.
Ulstein notes these vessels have an ICE-C notation, are DP II-equipped and meet the requirements of DNV’s Clean Design notation.
- LOA: 83.4 meters
- Beam 18 meters
- Max speed: Approximately 16 knots
- Load Capacity: 4,100 tonnes (dwt)
- Cargo Deck: 850 square meters
- Deck load: 2,200 tonnes.
- Accommodations: 23 persons
