Hanwha, Fincantieri Shares Rise as Trump Opens Navy Shipbuilding to Foreign Yards
Shares of South Korea's Hanwha Group and Italy's Fincantieri rose on Friday after President Donald Trump's directive opening U.S. Navy shipbuilding to overseas yards.
Photographer Ken McQuillan sent us the following images of the 635-foot bulk carrier Sam Laud operating from Belle Isle to Zug Island on the Detroit River on Wednesday.
In a report by the Windsor Star this week, Lieutenant Chad Yeaman from U.S. Coast Guard sector Detroit comments, “We are having basically our worst ice season in probably decades.” Yeaman helps oversee icebreaking operations with the U.S. Coast Guard in Detroit.
