OCEAN RANGER – ALASKA

Want to spend your summers on cruise ships visiting the pristine waters of Alaska?

The State of Alaska’s Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) in cooperation with Crowley Maritime is hiring engineers and deck officers to be a part of the 2014 Ocean Ranger Program. Personnel hired as part of this program will “act as independent observers and to assure compliance with federal and state environmental health, sanitation and safety requirements.” Engineers Wanted.

This person will focus on the Environmental Rating System and become a subject matter expert on all environmental, emissions and sustainability issues facing the maritime industry.
