A Dutch-registered containership was doing circles in the North Sea off the Wadden Islands after the ship’s rudder apparently got stuck.
The Netherlands Coastguard says it spotted the ship about 17.5 kilometers from the island of Vlieland at about 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

AIS data shows the vessel as being underway from Rotterdam to Helsinki, Finland with its status as “Not Under Command”.
The Coastguard has sent the offshore vessel Guardian to assist, which the agency later said was successful in wrangling the ship and will tow it to port.
By my count, the Escape did about 25 circles before the spinning eventually stopped.
