At Least 9 Dead After Ship Sinks Off Pohang

At least nine crew members are dead and two still missing after the Panama-flagged bulk carrier bulk carrier  “Cheng Lui 15” sank off the eastern coast of South Korea on Tuesday.  In the above image, taken on 15 October, the 8,461-ton vessel is seen 900 meters off the southeastern port of Pohang.

According to the South Korean Coast Guard, the ship was carrying 19 crew members when it sank, including 18 Chinese and one Vietnamese.
