Effective 1 Oct. 2021, ClassNK restructures its organization and establishes “Zero-Emission Transition Center” and “Marine GHG Certification Department” to strengthen its support to customers working on GHG reduction. Zero-Emission Transition Center develops overall business strategies related to GHG, and handles planning, implementation, and control of each business. Marine GHG Certification Department integrates responses to certification needs related to GHG reduction, including IMO short-term measures.
