WATCH: Laying Big Pipe from Allseas’ Audacia

Thanks to Wouter Haverkamp for sharing this awesome video that he created which provides a unique inside look at the day-to-day operations on board Allseas’ huge pipelay vessel, Audacia.

One of the best GoPro videos we’ve seen in a long time, check it out:

The Audacia, a converted Panamax bulk carrier, is 738 feet long and has a “stinger” which extends another 335 feet beyond the ship to allow it to lay pipe up to 60 inches in diameter in very deep water.
