Noble Names Senior Leadership of New Drilling Company, Paragon Offshore

Noble Corporation plc (NYSE: NE) has announced today it’s new standard specification offshore drilling company will be named Paragon Offshore and led by 38-year offshore industry veteran, Randall D. (Randy) Stilley, PE.

“I consider it a privilege to accept this opportunity with Paragon Offshore,” Stilley commented in an emailed statement.  His previous roles included CEO and President of Seahawk Drilling, CEO of the mat-supported jackup rig business at Pride International, as well as President and CEO of Hercules Offshore. “We have an outstanding team and a very capable fleet of assets to build upon. I look forward to working with our customers, employees and investors in this exciting new opportunity,” he added.

Stilley is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas and a Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He holds a B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Noble also announced appointments of Paragon Offshore’s executive team consisting of:

  • Charlie Yester – Sr. VP of Operations
  • Andrew Tietz – Sr. VP Marketing and Contracts
  • Lee Ahlstrom – Senior Vice President of Investor Relations, Strategy and Planning
  • Todd Strickler – Vice President and General Counsel

David W. Williams, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Noble Corporation commented:

Paragon Offshore’s fleet will initially consist of  five drillships, three semi-submersibles, thirty-four jack-ups, one FPSO and the Hibernia platform offshore Canada.
