POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Coast Guard 65-foot harbor tugs (from left) Line, Wire and Hawser steam together on the Hudson River to celebrate 50 years since their commissioning in 1963, Feb 21, 2013. With the primary mission of ice breaking, the tugs break ice on New York Harbor and the Hudson River helping to facilitate shipping of vital supplies such as home heating oil.
