Titan Salvage Receives NAMEPA Environmental Award
The North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA) has announced that Houston-based TITAN Salvage, a subsidiary of Jacksonville-based Crowley Maritime Corp. and part of the salvage team for the Costa Concordia shipwreck in Italy, is the recipient of its 2014 Corporate Marine Environment Protection Award.

Baltic Ace Salvage Suffers Major Setback
A planned attempt to the lift the sunken Baltic Ace car carrier from the seafloor near the port of Rotterdam has been abandoned because damage to the ship is worse than originally thought, the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment said Tuesday.
