Check out this video released today by the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society showing an aggressive confrontation between the Sea Shepherd and Japanese whaling fleets in the Southern Ocean.

Of course Sea Shepherd blames the confrontation and final collision between the SSS Bob Barker and one of three Japanese harpoon ships on an attack carried out by the whaling fleet vessels; the Yushin Maru, Yushin Maru No. 2 and Yushin Maru No. 3. I’m sure the Japanese fleet would tell you something different. Either way extremely dangerous.

This year’s anti-whaling operation, called Operation Relentless, is Sea Shepherd’s tenth campaign to stop Japanese whaling in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary.
