The last missing person was rescued a day after a ferry carrying more than 900 people capsized in Philippine waters, officials said Tuesday.

The woman was pulled from the water about 8 p.m. Monday ( 8 a.m. ET), according to the Philippine Coast Guard. The rescue meant everybody was accounted for, authorities said.

Nine people were killed and 958 rescued after the SuperFerry 9 capsized Sunday, officials said.

The ferry had left the city of General Santos bound for Iloilo.

Survivors and their families received medical help and other assistance Sunday, the Coast Guard said. An investigation was to be conducted.

It was the third major incident involving the SuperFerry 9 in the past three years. No fatalities were reported in the other incidents in 2006 and 2007.

Meanwhile, a Panamanian cargo vessel sank off the central coast of the Philippines. The 20 people on board — 18 Filipinos and two South Koreans — were rescued, the Philippine coast guard said.
