Arctech Helsinki Wins Icebreaking PSV Order from Sovcomflot

Arctech Helsinki Shipyard announced today the signing of a EUR 100 million order with Sovcomflot for a new icebreaking platform supply vessel (PSV). Upon delivery in 2016, this ship will be targeted for use at the North East Sakhalin Offshore region oil and gas field. Russia Asks for Badass Arctic Supply Boats, Helsinki Shipyard Delivers

The hull assembly of arctic offshore vessel NB 507 was started at the Keel Laying Ceremony at Helsinki Shipyard 3 July 2012.
