Google earth is quickly becoming an amazing product. You can track Tropical Storms, inspect subsea objects and view AIS (vessel tracking) data.
Now google has added another layer, the celestial sphere. Watch the video below to see how this works:
If anyone has figured out how to to use google sky for celestial navigation at sea (or any other navigation use… like voyage planning), please send me an email.
