Comments Turned Off – Feature Added

Published: July 11th, 2009 by John | SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

Ok, the number of posts this week has been less than expected but with good reason…. we have a spam problem.

The bad news is that spam has finally become too burdensome for our editors to handle but the good news is we spent the week coding a new feature and today are ready to announce a new comment system that will integrate this blog with the increasingly popular gCaptain forum.

How does it work? The new comment system is very simple, it posts a summary of all new blog articles to a new forum titled ‘Blog Comments‘.

Once posted, registered forum members can reply as they do to every other gCaptain forum thread and the comment will be cross posted to the relevant blog article.

Test the feature and let us know what you think by clicking “add your comments” below.

Ok guys so here's the deal...

We have integrated the blog comments into the forum. This means that each time a new blog article is published a summary of it will appear in this section of the forum (Blog Comments). Your reply to all posts in this section of the forum will be cross posted back to the blog. Neat, eh?
