Ship Repair Dock Master – Pacific Shipyards – Honolulu

Pacific Shipyards, located in Honolulu, Hawaii, is looking for a trained dockmaster with 5-10 years shipboard/shipyard experience to operate and manage jobs that are within the facility’s 2 drydocks. You will be responsible for the technical work in docking, rigging, hauling, and undocking vessels at our facility or elsewhere as well as maintaining the integrity of the drydocks themselves.

Must have considerable knowledge of structure of vessels, stress points, load factors, cradle positioning, and blocking of vessels Must have knowledge in stability calculations and docking plan development. Ability to plan, orgainze, manage, and communicate well with others. Must be able to obtain federal and state security clearances.
