Dynamic Positioning – DP Controls Systems Engineer
The DP Control Systems Engineer will be responsible for assisting with troubleshooting, isolating, and repairing all DP control systems aboard our vessels. This person is Involved in all major DP upgrades.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Ensuring primary consideration is given to HSE issues in all activities undertaken within areas of responsibility
· Review and amendment the DP Control Systems program code
· Trouble-shoot and repair the soft and hard interfaces, electrical systems, and electrical-mechanical systems
· Responsible for other DP Control Systems Technicians at various locations offshore and at the marine support facilities
· Participate in conducting annual DP trials & FMEA’s
· Reviews results and make recommendations for improved operation
Job Requirements :

Job Qualifications:
· Must have a detailed understanding ofDynamic Positioning systems, thrusters and Azipods
· Extensive experience working aboardmarine vesselson DP systems, electronics, electrical and electrical-mechanical systems is required
· Marine Electrical or Electronics degree is preferred, or US military experience in lieu of
· Strong understand DP Control Systems programming code and ability to rewrite code when necessary
Master Unlimited License
· Ability to fully trace, trouble-shoot and repair DP Controls Systems and interfaces
