Taylor Hopkinson’s client is a major player in European offshore wind and has a number on-going projects in both onshore and offshore renewables in the UK. We are are now looking for an experienced individual to assist in managing the consenting process for offshore wind farms in Scotland.

The Role

Assist the Offshore Development Manager to compile a comprehensive and detailed planning application for the offshore asset
Lead the offshore EIA/SEA assessments through consultants and contractors ensuring first class delivery within project timescales
Keep up to date with requirements through close liaison with stakeholders and government departments in the field of EIA/SEA
Reporting project progress to the development team and othe ronshore workstream managers to ensure transparancy across the project

The Requirements

Outstanding project and people manager
Knowledge of the offshore EIA consenting process is essential
Experience within the offshore wind field is highly advantageous, although not essential
Previous exposure to offshore oil and gas or similar, such as, ports and harbours will be considered
Degree in relevent discipline, such as, Marine Environment Management, Marine Ecology, Planning or similar
