I was in Singapore sometime in mid 2007 and went back again 2 month ago. There is a great view of the anchorage from the East Cost park , a perfect background for a stroll by the way ,I used to walk along it, I even counted the ships back in 2007, over 120, the same number quoted in the article, so it might be a case of slow day and not much to report.

If it is the slump itself then click the link and read the article. It makes it very clear why there is a slump. If it is anchoring the ships then it is because that is the least expensive thing to do. I don't understand the whole "I don't understand" thing.
