    Default Submarine HMS Astute Grounded



    HMS Astute became grounded near the Isle of Skye at 8am yesterday.

    There were no reports of any injuries on the nuclear powered submarine.

    Astute has turned off her nuclear reactor for the recovery operation to avoid any fears about a nuclear accident. White smoke seen coming from an exhaust in the submarine's fin showed her reserve diesel engines had been switched on.
    And they didn't even show the proper day shapes...
