My friend claims to have done this from "steel beach" just aft of the bridge on the "Columbia Queen"

Not sure if he was telling the truth..

If he did he would have had to jump about 8 feet out to clear the railing on the Deck below- then it's 40 feet down to the Columbia (or Snake) River....

The guy talked a lot... but he was kinda crazy- so who knows...
